FUNDRAISING & VOLUNEER INFORMATION

FUNDRAISING REQUIRMENTS

All Junior and Senior Club members are required to participate annually in club fundraising. The annual requirement is $200 per skater.

If you are unable to meet the fundraising goal in whole or in part, a cash/check payment will be required for the remaining balance by April 30 of each year. Although not encouraged, you may exercise a buy-out option, and pay the full $200 at any time, but no later than April 30 of the current skating season.

Concerns or appeals for exceptions can be made at any time, but no later than March 15 of the current skating season. We encourage you to address any conflicts in writing as they arise.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

The Vacationland Figure Skating Club cannot operate without the support of VOLUNTEERS. The fulfillment period for these requirements is May, 1  - April 30. VFSC has multiple events and activities each season to fulfill the requirement. Volunteer time can be fulfilled by any family member (age appropriate), willing to assist you. The requirement will be per family, not per skater.

We will be requiring a $300 volunteer check from each Junior and Senior Club family. Checks will be shredded or returned once the volunteer commitment has been fulfilled. The commitment must be completed in full in order to avoid payment. Notification will be given and checks will be cashed on April 30 if the commitment is not fulfilled.

You will be required to track your volunteer hours and submit these to the club. See the Handbook for instructions & more details.
